AFP Announces New Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Scholarship Program
The Association for Financial Professionals (AFP) is pleased to announce the launch of our new Diversity Initiative, the AFP DEI Scholarship Program. This program has been created to support DEI initiatives for the treasury and finance profession.
The program will provide up to 10 scholarships per company. Each scholarship covers the application and registration fees for either the Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) credential or Certified Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis Professional (FPAC) certification, as well as the corresponding Exam Preparation Platform (EPP).
“AFP is committed to helping ensure an environment of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in the treasury and finance profession,” said AFP Board Chairman and Senior Vice President and Treasurer for AMC Entertainment Holdings, Terry Crawford, CTP. “The AFP board and leadership are proud to create this important initiative as a positive step in support of our member companies and their individual DEI programs.”
Only corporate practitioners are eligible for these scholarships. If you would like more information about eligibility criteria and the application process, please contact Denise Riggs, Director, Executive Office.
