James A. Kaitz

President and Chief Executive Officer

Jim Kaitz is President and CEO of AFP, an association that represents over 16,000 treasury and financial professionals globally. The organization established and administers the Certified Treasury Professional® and Certified Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis Professional® credentials, setting standards of excellence in finance. The AFP Annual Conference is the largest networking event for corporate finance professionals. He was formerly EVP and COO of Financial Executives Institute, a professional association of over 14,000 senior financial executives representing 8,000 companies in the United States.

Jeff A. Glenzer, CTP

Vice President and Chief Operating Officer

Jeff Glenzer, CTP, oversees the execution of strategic initiatives while leading AFP’s product development, educational programming, public policy and communication departments. He manages the Association's subject matter experts in the areas of treasury, payments, corporate finance, accounting, financial reporting, and risk management. He also plays a leadership role in the Association's public policy activities, including significant legislative and regulatory involvement on rating agency reform, derivatives regulations, money market fund rules and illegal bank tying.

Himashi Soriano

Managing Director, APAC

An expert in helping organisations transform the way they engage with and train their finance and treasury staff, Himashi Soriano heads up the Association for Financial Professionals’ (AFP) Asia division. With a background in marketing, business development, sales strategy and operations, she has worked at AFP for more than 15 years in a variety of roles. For the past three years, Soriano has used her expertise and passion to build strong customer relationships and partnerships within the Asia-Pacific region and has been an integral part of helping corporate treasury and finance professionals achieve their career goals through AFP’s training and Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) and Certified Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis (FPAC) Professional programmes.

Soriano holds a Master of Business Administration in management from the Johns Hopkins University Carey Business School (USA) and a Bachelor of Science in business from George Mason University (USA).

Tom Hunt, CTP

Director, Treasury Services

Tom Hunt is the staff subject matter expert on bank relationship management, cash management, and treasury technology. He is in charge of AFP's Treasury Advisory Group; AFP's member committee dedicated to meeting the needs of the profession and helping keep members current on developing topics.

Mariam Lamech

Director, Survey Research
Mariam Lamech leads AFP’s proprietary research program. She manages the entire project lifecycle, including survey rationale and design; survey administration; analysis and interpretation of survey data; and writing and producing AFP’s survey reports. Lamech leads and executes AFP‘s survey research with a focus on enhancing the value of AFP’s external survey projects to the treasury and finance profession through the development and production of ancillary products.

Lamech has nearly 25 years’ career experience within research functions at Associations.

Bryan Lapidus, FPAC

Director, FP&A Practice 

Bryan Lapidus has more than 20 years of experience in the corporate FP&A and treasury space working at organizations like American Express, Fannie Mae and private equity-owned companies. At AFP he is the staff subject matter expert on FP&A, which includes designing content to meet the needs of the profession and helping keep members current on developing topics. Bryan also manages the FP&A Advisory Council that acts as a voice to align AFP with the needs of the profession.
